Chemical incidents lead to Columbia road closures

A couple chemical spills led to road closures in Columbia on Thursday.

One small spill was near Ninth and Elm close to Mizzou on Thursday night (pictured). The Columbia Fire Dept. reports it was just the product used to clean the ovens at the nearby Domino’s.

Light smoke coming from a trash bag led to another brief closure on Windsor Street between Ripley and William late Thursday morning. A couple chemicals had mixed in the bag.

No one was hurt in either incident.
