Columbia Public Schools will offer COVID-19 testing for district students and staffers with symptoms of the illness, starting on Thursday.
Call CPS at 573-214-3975 to make an appointment. The tests will be at Rock Bridge and Hickman high schools Monday-Friday from 9:30 a.m.-2:15 p.m. when school is in session.
District leaders held one of their World Café forums on Wednesday night via Zoom. Administrators, teachers, parents, and students talked about challenges they have faced while learning almost completely online during the pandemic.
Superintendent Peter Stiepleman said during the forum, if the school board approves it on Dec. 14, the district is installing improved air purifying systems in district buildings. They could be in place by the start of the next semester in January.
