It’ll take more than $100,000 to fix the damage fire caused a Jefferson City home Saturday morning.
Investigators say a home on Pine Street caught fire shortly before 6:15 a.m. Firefighters got the fire put out.
Three people who lived in the home can no longer live there because of the damage.
The fire department says this is the second early-morning fire in the last two days where the residents escaped because their smoke detector was working.
