A bill to clarify language that would freeze property tax increases for senior citizens was approved by Missouri’s general assembly on Friday. Boone County’s Democrat county commissioners say they will exercise their option to implement the new law in Boone County. State Representative Cheri Toalson Reisch, a Republican from Hallsville, told 93.3 the Eagles Columbia Buzz program Sunday morning that she was going to continue with her initiative petition drive for implementing the new law until commissioners get it done.
