Deputies announce 31-year-old Joshua Crooks is charged with felony possession and transport of a weapon, felony controlled substance possession, and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession. He’s in jail with a $500,000 bond.

The Highway Patrol’s bomb squad is called in to investigate a possible pipe bomb found in a car in Camden County.
Deputies found the device Thursday morning after chasing down a vehicle that ran from police.
The chase ended when the car struck a mailbox on County Route D.
The bomb squad took the device out of the car and later rendered it safe. Police say they also found meth and a scale in the car.
Charges are pending against the 31-year-old driver. We do not know his name yet.
