Voters in the Hallsville School District will cast ballots in April on a $6-million bond issue, which will include construction of additional classrooms at Hallsville Middle School.
It will also include replacement of the athletic track as the first phase of outdoor site improvements.
Hallsville officials say it’s a no-tax-increase bond issue. Passage requires a simple majority.
The Hallsville School District is just ten miles north of Columbia, serving northern Boone County. It serves more than 1,400 students and employs more than 200 faculty, staff and administrators.
