Ian Zimmerann, 6, was taken to a local hospital Wednesday afternoon after a vehicle hit him near Highway 5 and Rockafeller Road in Versailles.
According to the Highway Patrol, Zimmerann was riding his bicycle when he made a left turn into a GMC Yukon driven by Samuel Glee, 53, and hit the passenger side mirror of Glee’s car.
The 6-year-old’s bike was totaled and removed from the scene by his family.
Glee had minor injuries and was able to drive his vehicle from the scene.
Ian is doing well had minor head injuries otherwise back to normal
