Columbia school district patrons will be casting ballots in April on an $80-million bond issue.
Columbia’s school board voted Monday night to place the issue on the April ballot. The proposed bond issue would fund a new elementary school on the Warner campus in south Columbia, career center improvements and numerous other projects. It would also be used to repair and replace windows, roofs and heating and air conditioning units.
Passage requires a simple majority. The election day is April 5.
