Unemployment claims continue their huge spike during the COVID-19 pandemic.
There were 91,049 claims in Missouri, for the week ending Apr. 4.
The state labor department reported 104,230 claims for the week ending Mar. 28, and 42,207 for the week ending Mar. 21. That adds up to 237,486 the last three weeks.
Missouri reported 182,912 unemployment claims in all of 2019.
