You have an opportunity Saturday to donate school supplies to mid-Missouri students who need them.
939 the Eagle and some of our other Zimmer stations will be live tomorrow from 10 am to 2 pm at the Hy-Vee on Columbia’s West Broadway. It’s 939 the Eagle’s Gear Up for Grades school supply drive, thanks to Brian Wear Plumbing and State Farm agent Phyllis Nichols.
For some families, the choice of buying school supplies is up against groceries, utilities and other bills. The drive will benefit area schoolchildren. Pens, pencils, backpacks, notebooks, headphones are just some of the needed items.
