There will be no prison time for the former staffer and coach who sent sexual texts to a local elementary school student.
Davonte Kyles, 24, got credit for time served in jail and a suspended one-year jail sentence. The former North Callaway middle school track coach is on two years’ probation, and must register as a sex offender, in exchange for pleading guilty to the misdemeanor attempted sexual contact with a student.
Authorities say Kyles sent inappropriate messages through social media to an Auxvasse Elementary School student for months before he was arrested in Spring 2019.
