A Fayette man will spend the next 35 years in prison over a killing last year.
Alfredo Hicks got his sentence on Oct. 7 after his convictions for second degree murder, armed criminal action, and more. He pleaded guilty in August.
Hicks was arrested on New Year’s Eve 2019, soon after 29-year-old John Turner was found shot to death in Fayette. Authorities say Hicks admitted to killing Turner after planning to buy marijuana from him.
