A Columbia man is accused of setting a fire on purpose at a local home.
Police arrested Seth Vaughn, 28, a little after 1 a.m. Sunday on first degree arson, child endangerment, and drug charges.
Firefighters put out a small kitchen fire at a home on Ammonette Street near Paris Road and Business Loop 70. Two adults and two children were inside, but no one was hurt.
