Car reportedly hits child in Boonville

A Boonville child is recovering after getting hit by a car while walking to school.

ABC 17 reports it happened Wednesday morning on Ashley Road.

School officials say the kid did not have serious injuries.

Police say someone was arrested over the accident, but we don’t know that person’s name yet.
