Columbia’s third Ace Hardware will open in less than 30 minutes in a busy south Columbia shopping center.
939 the Eagle News was at the store in the Rock Bridge shopping center on Thursday, and a sign on the door says they’ll open at 7:30 this morning.
Ace Hardware has completely renovated the former Big Lots location. Westlake Ace Hardware now has two Columbia locations: one on the Business Loop and the other on Worley, near Joe Machens Ford. The 120-year-old hardware retailer is headquartered in Kansas City and operates about 160 stores in 12 states. They’ve been in Columbia since 1960.
