Active coronavirus case count increases in Boone, Audrain counties

Boone and Audrain counties both saw a rise in active coronavirus cases Wednesday.

Boone County confirmed another five positives, and now reports 38 active cases. Four new cases were confirmed in Audrain County, with 34 active.

Callaway County reported one new positive Wednesday, but active cases fell to four.

Cole, Moniteau, and Saline counties had no new cases.

Missouri reported another eight COVID-19 deaths Wednesday, for a statewide total of 848. Another 274 Missourians have tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the overall total to 15,187.
