Active coronavirus cases tick up in Boone County

New coronavirus cases rose up again in Boone County after a few days of dropping.

There were 69 new cases reported Tuesday, up from 43 on Monday. Active cases fell to 576, since many more were released from isolation. Active student cases at Mizzou dropped a lot too, and sit at 332 as of Tuesday.

Hospitalizations in Boone County rose again to the record-high level of 61, but are still below capacity.

Active cases dropped again in Cole County, to 121. There were 15 new cases on Tuesday.

Callaway County on Tuesday reported 17 new cases. Active cases went up 12, to 168.

Missouri reported 1,317 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday. There were 18 COVID-19 deaths added, for a total of 1,732. The seven-day average rate on positive tests was at 12.3%.
