The Daniel Boone Regional Library Board of Trustees approved its agreement with union workers yesterday.

Board members held a public vote over Zoom to approve the contract, which was largely the same tentative deal that the two sides agreed upon last month. The contract includes a five-percent wage increase each year for library staff and increased health benefits.

The agreement puts an end to negotiations between the library and union members that has lasted more than a year.
