Anti-drug advocate opposes medical marijuana measures

There are three medical marijuana issues on the Nov. 6 ballot. Joy Sweeney from the Jefferson City area Council for Drug Free Youth says vote against all of them.

“They know darn good and well that’s what this is about. It’s about full legalization. It is absolutely not about medicine.”

Sweeney says more weed would only lead to increased homelessness, crime, and youth drug use. You’ll vote on three initiatives that would legalize medical marijuana in November.
