Apache Flats standoff ends with arrest

A wanted man who held law officers at bay just west of Jefferson City is arrested.

Deputies, troopers and SWAT officers were called to a home on Woodhaven Drive in the Apache Flats area on Thursday morning around 9:30 for the suspect who was wanted on warrants.

According to Cole County deputies, Kent Marsh had barricaded himself inside with his family and was armed.

He was arrested a little after noon Thursday, and was taken to the Cole County Jail for the two active warrants and domestic violence.

The Jefferson City Police Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted.
