Arrests made in Ashland after multi-county chase

Some shoplifting leads to a mid-Missouri car chase.

Jefferson City police say the suspects stole about $300 worth of stuff from the Kohl’s on Stoneridge Parkway at the capital Saturday afternoon. The suspects then drove away from a traffic stop on Missouri Boulevard.

They got all the way to Ashland before they were caught during a second chase. We don’t know the names of the two Columbia natives arrested in the case yet. A third person was taken into custody on separate charges.
