Ashland Police say cars were racing faster than 100 mph on Highway 63 late Saturday night.
Officers say the three drivers all tried to speed away from them at about 11:30 p.m.
Police say the driver of a Volkswagen passed cars on the shoulder and went the wrong way on the highway at one point. That driver, Ariyan Akins of Jefferson City, finally stopped near Highway 63 and Log Providence Rd. and was arrested on several charges.
