Assessment finds 611 Cole County buildings damaged by tornado

We have an early estimate on how many Cole County buildings were damaged during the May 22 tornado.

Inspectors say that, as of June 30, it appears 611 buildings in the county were damaged. Most of them, 382, were homes in Jefferson City.

Authorities have not reported any deaths because of the EF-3 tornado.
