Missouri attorney general Eric Schmitt says he is looking at legal options to keep Pres. Biden from blocking the construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline. Schmitt joined Wake Up Columbia on Thursday:
I find it strange that Mr. Schmitt says nothing about good paying union jobs but just uses the term “jobs”. He supports Right To Work here in Missouri. He is a union busting scab. The pipe line once done would only sustain 35 to 50 full time positions. It would also have effects on union jobs in rail and trucking full time. It is my understanding that pipe line would carry tar sands crude which is highly corrosive and has leaked vs. raw crude.
