(AUDIO): Boone County Fire Protection District EMT discusses baby being delivered near on I-70 during winter storm

The Boone County Fire Protection District credits MU Health Care personnel and Boonville Police for their quick work in helping to deliver a healthy baby in the back of an ambulance on I-70 in Columbia during Thursday morning’s winter storm. It all started in Boonville, when Boonville Police officer Clinton Barger was called to transport a mother in labor, along with her husband. Officer Barger requested an intercept with an ambulance at Boone County fire station 9. Boone County Fire Protection District EMT Ryan Benedict joined us live on “Wake Up Columbia” this morning to discuss the amazing details:
