Fifth ward Columbia city councilman Matt Pitzer announced this week that he will not seek re-election in April. Councilman Pitzer outlined his decision on 939 the Eagle’s “Wake Up Mid-Missouri,” telling listeners he’s delivered on his promises regarding public safety and infrastructure. He also explained the long hours it takes to serve on the council and the impact that has on families:
