Downtown Columbia Community Improvement District executive director Nickie Davis says she’s incredibly frustrated that the city has allowed the Wabash bus station to be used for long-term camping and sheltering. Downtown business owners are complaining about some homeless residents shouting at customers, and Orr Street Farmers Market board member Dusty Dudek says the market is usually trashed on Sundays when he arrives. While some say the Wabash is needed to protect the homeless from heat, cold and rain, Davis says it’s time for the city to find a different location that offers services. Ms. Davis joined us live on “Wake Up Columbia”:
