Columbia’s city council has unanimously voted to place the roll cart issue on the August ballot. Under the city charter, the council had to take action Monday night on the successful initiative petition to repeal the city’s prohibition on the use of residential roll carts. The issue will appear on Columbia’s citywide ballot on August 2. Fifth Ward councilman Matt Pitzer joined us live on “Wake Up Columbia”:
