Columbia School Board member David Seamon has announced his candidacy for mayor. Mr. Seamon discussed his run on “Wake Up Columbia.” He wants to see a permanent homeless shelter, noting many homeless residents in the Columbia area are veterans. Mr. Seamon also wants to see more community policing, and expresses concerns with racial disparities in Columbia traffic stops:
