(AUDIO): Columbia’s police chief and health department assistant director preview emergency town meeting on increasing overdose deaths

Columbia Police Chief Geoff Jones and Columbia/Boone County Public Health assistant director Scott Clardy say CPD has seen 22 fentanyl-related overdose deaths this year. Officers are also seeing numerous other drug overdoses, where they’ve had to administer Narcan. An emergency community meeting will be held Tuesday evening at 7 at Hickman High School. Chief Jones and Mr. Clardy joined host Fred Parry on Saturday morning’s “CEO Round Table” to discuss the growing problem. They also previewed Tuesday’s meeting:
