Columbia Public Schools (CPS) patrons will be casting ballots in April on an $80-million bond issue. If the proposed bond issue is approved by voters, it would fund a new elementary school on the Warner campus in south Columbia, career center improvements and numerous other projects. CPS Superintendent Dr. Brian Yearwood joined host Fred Parry Saturday on 939 the Eagle’s “CEO Round Table.” They discussed the April bond issue, the district’s greatest needs and this month’s tragic shooting death of a Battle high school student inside her home:
