Former State Rep. Jean Evans (R-Manchester) now leads the Missouri Federation for Children. She’s also a former Missouri Republican Party executive director. She joined “Wake Up Columbia” this morning to discuss school choice and Missouri’s $25 million new education savings account (ESA) program. Evans describes education as the enemy of poverty, and says competition makes schools better:
