A Mid-Missouri town says “thanks for your service” in a big way to a member of the National Guard.
Brandon Brown returned to Keytesville last weekend from a year-long deployment to the Middle East. He came home to a surprise: the community had chipped in to overhaul his flooded basement, and install new kitchen counters, carpets, and furniture.
“It was overwhelming,” Brown says. “I thought I was going to surprise them and I got the biggest surprise that I could ever get.”
