(AUDIO) Stiepleman on end of CPS year, plans for fall

May 21 marks the end of a school year unlike any other for Columbia Public Schools. Coronavirus concerns led the district to stop in-person classes in March.

“[The fall semester] will either be a traditional school…we’ll be back, and hopefully that’s what happens…but if not, we need to be prepared for what a totally remote learning might look like, and do it better than we ever did it,” Supt. Peter Stiepleman says.

Stiepleman talked about how the fall semester could look in the district during Wake Up Columbia on Thursday:
