A southwest Missouri congressman who’s helped lead seven bipartisan delegations to Japan describes the assassination of former Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe as devastating. U.S. Rep. Billy Long (R-Springfield) has co-chaired the bipartisan Congressional Study Group on Japan with U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette (D-Colorado), and says the study group has never been partisan. Congressman Long tells “Wake Up Columbia” that former Prime Minister Abe was instrumental in opening key Missouri export markets to Japan, including for companies in Columbia, Springfield and St. Louis:
