Audrain County inmate confesses to planning out murder of fellow inmate

First degree murder charges have been filed against an Audrain County inmate who was accused of killing a fellow jail inmate.

Court documents show 27-year-old Ryan Blair struck 42-year-old Michael Eisenhauer on the head and beat him to death with his hands and feet.

Investigators said Blair admitted to planning and carrying out the murder. If found guilty of first-degree murder, Blair faces life in prison or the death penalty.
