A man with ties to mid-Missouri’s Auxvasse and Williamsburg who’s been indicted for killing his wife in 2002 will be arraigned this (Monday) morning in Fulton.
A Callaway County grand jury has indicted 64-year-old Harold Dickens of Auxvasse for first degree murder for the April 2002 stabbing death of his wife Debra. Harold Dickens has applied for a public defender and will be arraigned at 8:30 this morning before Judge Jeff Harris. Dickens is currently jailed without bond.
The brutal 2002 killing of Debra Dickens received major news media coverage at the time. Our news partner KMIZ reports court documents show Debra Dickens had filed for divorce from her husband in March 2002, one month before she was murdered.
Callaway County prosecutor Ben Miller recently presented the case to the grand jury, which handed down a sealed indictment. The indictment was unsealed as soon as Harold Dickens was arrested.
