Columbia’s first director of the recently-formed communications department begins his new job Monday morning at city hall.
Columbia city manager De’Carlon Seewood announced this month that Christopher Ave begins his new role today. Ave has most recently served as the University of Missouri director of media relations.
Mr. Seewood says Christopher’s extensive experience in journalism and strategic communications makes him an outstanding addition to their team.
Ave has more than 30 years of experience and is also a former editor at the “St. Louis Post-Dispatch.”
