B-2 flyover salutes mid-Missouri essential workers

Whiteman Air Force Base is sending some planes for a flyover to salute essential COVID-19 workers.

B-2 Spirit stealth bombers from The Missouri Air National Guard’s 131st Bomb Wing will be in the skies over six Missouri communities. A press release on Thursday says it is in honor of medical and healthcare professionals, essential employees, and volunteers as they battle the coronavirus.

Here’s the tentative flyover schedule:

4:14 p.m. – Camdenton

4:50 p.m. – Cape Girardeau

5:12 p.m. – St. Louis

5:43 p.m. – Columbia

6 p.m. – Jefferson City

6:22 p.m. – Springfield
