Bahamas death toll at least 30, could be “significantly higher”

(AP) – The Bahamian health minister says the death toll of at least 30 could be “significantly higher” on Abaco and Grand Bahama islands from Hurricane Dorian.

Meanwhile, the United Nations is sending ready-to-eat meals, providing satellite communications equipment, generators and airlift storage units.

Companies such as Royal Caribbean and American Airlines also have been donating supplies.
