Judy Baker is back on the campaign trail.
The former state representative from Columbia announced Thursday she’s running for Missouri Senate in 2020. The Democrat wants to take Republican Majority Leader Caleb Rowden’s spot.
Baker has tried for a higher office than the Missouri House before. She lost to Blaine Luetkemeyer in a Congressional race in 2008. She was also the Democratic nominee for state treasurer in 2016.
