Barry Odom given extension through 2024

The University of Missouri Board of Curators on Wednesday approved a contract extension and a raise for head football coach Barry Odom.

Odom will make a $3.05 million dollars a year from 2019 through 2024, a $600,000 raise. He could make $1.855 million more if his team hits all the on-and-off-field goals that trigger bonuses in his contract.

Another year gets added to the contract every time the Tigers win nine football games in a season.

  1. There is nobody worth this kind of money, especially in sports. I’ve tracked how folks say mizzou is solely private funded. I’ve also found this is BS. So now we are paying for this persons millions in contracts. What a farce when we can’t even fund the school right.
