A popular form of transportation in downtown Columbia has left.
ABC 17 reports the Electric scooter manufacturer, Bird, pulled their product from the streets after their contract expired.
Bird officials said they look forward to working with the university and the city in the future.
However, Columbia city officials are saying this provides a great opportunity for other electric scooter companies to place their bids.
Going forward, officials are only interested in having one electric scooter company operate in the city.
