Boat explosion kills one at the Lake of the Ozarks

One person is dead after a boat explosion at the Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the explosion happened after the boat was refueled and the engine restarted on Saturday afternoon on the Glaize Arm at Ridgeview Marina.

Shawn Carroll, 53 from the St. Louis area town of Richmond Heights died. Two others have serious injuries. The fourth person on board, Brent Soloman of Osage Beach, has minor injuries.
