Most mid-Missouri counties saw no growth, but coronavirus cases continued to rise in Boone County Tuesday.
Health officials confirmed another eight positive cases, bringing the active number of cases to 39.
Other counties, such as Cole, Callaway, Saline, Moniteau and Audrain have not reported new cases in the last day.
On the state level, 228 more positives were added Tuesday, for a total of 16,417. Two more deaths from COVID-19 were reported in the state, making a total of 882.
