Authorities are searching for a Columbia man accused of assaulting a female victim and leading a cop chase.
Sheriff’s deputies say Gianni Hodo, 30, is wanted on several charges, including domestic assault and armed criminal action. Hodo allegedly strangled the victim, broke her phone, and stole her car at a home on Sanders Court near East St. Charles Road this week.
Investigators say when deputies stopped Hodo in the stolen car, he drove away. Authorities followed Hodo until he crashed on Leslie Lane and Garth Avenue, where he then got out and ran away.
