Boone County’s clerk says about 11,600 voters have cast ballots in-person since early voting began this month.
That includes more than 1,500 voters on Friday, some who waited 40 minutes to vote because of lines. The numbers highlight voter interest in the November election. County clerk Brianna Lennon is forecasting a November voter turnout in the high 50s.
Clerk Lennon’s office will offer Saturday voting at three locations. You can vote from 8 am to 5 pm Saturday at the Roger Wilson Boone County Government Center in downtown Columbia.
