A Columbia man remains jailed without bond this morning, accused of numerous child sex crimes.

Boone County prosecutors have charged 39-year-old David Walter Nacarato with 13 felony counts, including five counts of child molestation and four counts of statutory sodomy. A Boone County circuit judge has denied bond for Nacarato, describing him as “a danger to the victims and the community.”

Graphic court documents obtained by 939 the Eagle say the suspect allegedly used a chain to restrain one of his victims, a kindergartner at the time. The Columbia Police Department’s probable cause statement also alleges that Nacarato’s cell phone included searches for “kiddy carnival” and other graphic searches.

The probable cause statement also says the suspect tried to blame another victim’s injuries on a fall from a bicycle.

Court documents also say the suspect has violated a protection order and that he’s also resisted arrest before.
