Boone County daily COVID cases taper; still in double digits

There was a bit of a break in Boone County COVID-19 cases Wednesday.

Officials reported 11 new positive cases, down from a daily high of 25 new case reports Tuesday. Missouri officials reported Wednesday that two more people have died from the disease, and there are 376 new cases statewide, for a total of 21,927.

There’s one new case in Cole County, while Callaway County leaders announced four new positives since an update last Thursday (6/25).
