Boone County emergency managers: stay home if possible on Thursday

The Boone County Courthouse in downtown Columbia is closed today (Thursday), due to the potential of inclement weather and dangerous driving conditions.

Boone County’s emergency management office is urging you to have enough food, water and medication to get through the next few days. Boone County officials say you should assume travel today will be dangerous at best, if not impossible.
